Naturopathy, or naturopathic medicine, is a form of alternative medicine based on a belief in vitalism, which posits that a special energy called vital energy or vital force guides bodily processes such as metabolism, reproduction, growth, and adaptation. Naturopathy favors a holistic approach with non-invasive treatment and generally avoids the use of surgery and drugs. Among naturopaths, complete rejection of biomedicine and modern science is common.

MASSAGE THERAPY PROGRAM

Massage therapy program at COLLÈGE SANTÉ INTERNATIONAL focus on both theoretical knowledge and practical training. In theory courses, subjects cover topics such as anatomy and physiology, human growth and development, therapeutic exercise, thermal and hydrotherapy and much more. Through hands-on training, students will practice assessing clients and using various massage techniques. Students will alternate giving and receiving massages to gain a better understanding of the process and effect of massage therapy.

In addition to massage training, programs consist of communications, entrepreneurship and general wellness courses so students not only have the hands-on experience but also the business knowledge needed to work at spas and other health and medical organizations, or to open their own facility.
